Any of you know where I can find a 7" inch or so Color LCD display that has a DVI or VGA connector and can be directly interfaced with a PC? I need one for my HTPC. It needs to fit in my entertainment tower and room is limited. This HTPC is interfaced with my front projector. It would be very nice if I had a monitor.

Thanks
C

Those are pretty cool!

If you don't mind a 5" LCD with RCA inputs, I got one for about $300, I think. If you're interested I'll post what the model is (not quite sure at the moment).

Whatever you do, don't go looking at a radio shack for your LCD display.

(One of the funniest stories ever posted to this BBS...)

Thanks! I was pretty much drooling over the touchscreen.
That may be what I'm after. I could remotely locate it by my seating location. I may not be able to get to the HTPC when the screen is down. This would be Cool! You know, it really is amazing what is available these days for not too much dinero. It opens up all kinds of possibilities. Like my projector for instance, 365 US on Ebay and its awesome!

Well, I looked at mine and suprisingly there is no information as to who made it. I can't remember the site where I bought it from now

I'm not sure it would be what you wanted anyway. It probably wouldn't give you very good results with a computer. If you still want to try it, here's another option.

If I find out what company makes mine, I'll let you know. All I know is that I ordered it from some big online electronics dealer which seemed to specialize in video components, but I can't for the life of me remember the name. Sorry.

It's an Ampro 2000 CRT projector. 184 hours on the CRT's, 1600 hours on the chassis. It's got an awesome picture. Will do 1024 X 768 through the RGB inputs. I should have it installed by next weekend. I wonder what movie I should watch first? Here's a picture of it.
